What I played in 2020?

Here is a chronological list of games I played in 2020!
- Mercenaries - a game from the original Xbox, quite old, but all the more fun :) It’s almost like GTA set in the conflict in North Korea. Xbox Gold.
- Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon - if you know Castlevania, this is from the same author. Quite retro platformer, again in Xbox Gold.
- The Witcher 2 - “you can’t jump there” flashed through my head and really, you can’t jump there. I played it after finishing the third one, and it doesn’t reach its quality. Again Xbox Gold.
- New Super Mario Bros - at the beginning of the year I got myself a Nintendo 2DS and this game was pre-installed there. It’s great, very playable and in nice graphics.
- The Outer Worlds - this was an absolute TOP experience. This game is similar to Fallout in atmosphere, but there’s more humor and it completely blew me away. I got a boxed version for Xbox for my birthday :)
- The Long Dark - my first experience with the survival genre. Very good game, although after several years since its release, only 3 out of 5 chapters are available. I got a boxed version for Xbox and there’s also a diary and a map.
- Mario Kart 7 - according to some, one of the best games for Nintendo 2/3DS. It’s fun, but it’s just racing. Some retro tracks from Nintendo 64 are pleasing.
- Coffee Talk - this is not even a game, you just click through the story and occasionally make coffee. But somehow it caught me. Probably because of its rainy atmosphere in the alternative night Seattle, where you make hot chocolate with ginger for various fairy races… again Xbox Gold.
- No Man’s Sky - probably the biggest disappointment. Like Fallout 76, it just didn’t catch me, although there were fewer bugs and I played it for a little longer. Very confusing UI, which is more suitable for PC with a mouse. Xbox boxed version.
- Portal Knights - they say it’s like Minecraft. I never played that in real life, but this one caught me quite a bit. Cute graphics. Quest descriptions are very brief, often I didn’t know where to go, what to do. And the inventory is confusing. But I spent a few evenings with it. Xbox Gold.
- Armed and Dangerous - I played it on PC a long time ago and I really liked it. TPS from 2003, quite fast-paced. Your companions are a tea-sipping robot in the form of a Roman warrior and a mole. Xbox Gold (from the original Xbox).
- MX Unleashed - off-road motorcycles. I used to play something similar when I was little. Xbox Gold (from the original Xbox).
- Diablo 3 - my first experience with Diablo and I really like it. The game is quite simple, I had to increase the difficulty twice. Basically, you just run and press all the buttons.
- Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition - there’s nothing to add here, I play it practically every day (campaigns, I’m very bad online). That’s probably the best game ever. The only game I play on PC :D
